Im guessing my ignorance is gonna cost me here bb?! Will the income increase disregard mean that they will base it on 13800 as opposed to the p60 figure of 18800...which of course wouldn't be so bad? Thanks again for your help on this!!

I think I get you now!! Feel a little bit better but expect an overpayment. But u have made me feel much better in that I will have child tax credits continue...I couldn't cope on 900 wage alone...I don't get housing benefit! Are there any conditions to the 5k disregard or do tax credits automatically apply it? Im really sorry for torturing you with this bb!0
