I think 1000 however neither 0 or 1000 mean anything to anyone else except Experian.

Correction: 999 is the top digits.

    0-538 is meaningless
539-540 means everything and is super important and true
    541-999 again is meaningless

I see what you're saying, as my Experian report is in the 900s, yet I have two satisfied CCJs and a couple of satisfied defaults. However, if at 900 odd witgh no defaults ect, and some good credit history, it surely is far from meaningless?

You've got a credit file with CCJ's and defaults whether they're settled or not in reality you should be -900 yet experian who don't lend money and don't take in vital information when accessing their silly score says your credit file is good.

    Unfortunately not.
It is almost a textbook definition of meaningless.
