Evening all! Hoping someone can help me! Got in a bad way with my credit card! Basically missed a few payments and now a default has been registered on my credit file. The debt has been passed to a debt company to gain this money back.
Silly question now I've got a default do I need to pay this back!? How can I help this situation?
I've got some shares which I can't withdraw until sept 2015 for 6k and also got some money coming 1.4k in May???
Stupid I know!!

It looks better if the default is marked as settled but will harm your ability to receive credit either way.
This will last for six years on your file but it's impact will reduce over time if you manage your finances well.0
