Credit limit Indicative of the rate?

Options
I have applied for a Barclays platinum card with 31 months at 0% for BT's.

I was accepted but when I called they were unable to confirm if I was accepted for the 0% rate however I was shocked at the large credit limit I was given.

Could a large credit limit indicate I was successful in obtaining the 0% rate?

If you've a history of bad debt don't be to shocked if the card get recalled.

I have no defaults on my credit file, this is my second card with Barclays as the other one I have was when they took over Egg CC.

If you've been accepted for the card then there's no reason to think you won't get the 0% offer. It's what you applied for, after all. The reason they couldn't confirm the rate is most likely because you're not fully setup on their systems yet.

    That could be true.

I was a little worried they offered me a 10k limit considering i'm only earning 16k Gross.

Which is why I called as I thought it was a mistake.
