Home Insurance when Owner in Care Home

The house is in my father's name, unfortunately he has had to move to a care home.
My mother still lives in the property. Question is does anyone know how you now insure the house?
Current insurers says they only insure the house in the home owners name and if they live there, so we cant insure with them.
If I go to comparison site, if I place the policy in my father name, it assumes this is his permanent main residence, or select from week only, weekend only, holiday or unoccupied. No option for being home owner but in a care home but occupied by other family.
If in my mother's name, she neither owns, has a mortgage, rents etc; so no viable option to select there.

I reckon most mainstream insurers won’t have a problem with this.
I would get quotes in joint names and then phone the chosen insurer and explain the circumstances0 -
I'd just insure the property in your mothers name. Assuming they are married and made no pre-nuptials then she is joint owner. As she is also the person in charge of financial affairs at the moment, this would be perfectly acceptable.

Thanks for the replies.
Yeah is annoying you have these comparison sites, but then in these circumstances you cant use them and have to go back to the old ring them all way.
So just did a quote on these sites like normal, but then rang them to change the details, and man the insurance shoots up. Renewal quote was £160, but just telling them that the homeowner is no longer living there but their spouse is, well it's shot up to £240!
I ask them why, but they cant really give a reason for it. And of course some refuse insurance as you the only insure the homeowner if they live at the premises. And they dont accept her as joint owner through marriage as the name has to be on the deed as well
