Hi
I'm thinking of starting up a business, but not sure what is best with regards to office equipment. I require Laptop, phone and desktop pc, either buy or lease. Anyone can recommend online stores which offer good deals to businesses.

The minute you declare you are a business, the price goes up. Leasing equipment binds you into a contract. If you make no money, you will still have to pay the lease costs. Even if you run a limited company, being a new start up, you will have to offer a personal guarantee, so there is no getting out if paying!
Do you really need a PC and a laptop?
Buying is a more realistic opportunity. Maybe buy second hand until you can afford to upgrade.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Margins on consumer electronics are wafer thin, don't imagine you'll get much of a break for 3 items.0

Really depends what you need them for, if its just basic email/word processing etc then you could get something cheap used/refurbed.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I can manage with a spare pc I have, and borrow one of my daughters laptops that she doesn't use, so in essence I suppose that may be the best course of action until im up and running and making good money

Make money first, buy stuff once you know the business is viable.
The other way round is a shortcut to misery for sure.0 -
I have a laptop. Bought it 5 years ago. Have run 3 businesses with it and am in the process of starting another. Have never felt the need for a desktop as well!!0

Good plan, this is how I started my business, I started with a £25.00 camcorder from ebay teamed with a borrowed one and used a mid range PC I already had with free software tools.
Things are rather different now.
