my auntie in new zealand will be transfering me some money shortly, just trying to find the cheapest way to do it, have most of the fees mapped out for sending the money but have read somewhere that a fee may be charged also by the recieving bank, does anyone know if HSBC charge such fee to receive international money transfers and if they do how much.
Thanks!

Most banks charge between £5 and £12 to receive funds from abroad.0

Dont forget you should also consider the rate - banks generally offer very bad rates when receiving non-sterling funds from overseas. If you use an international money transfer specialist you will get a much better rate and avoid a receiving fee.0
