Barclays AR on credit file

Hi All
i hope someone can help with this as its frustrating.
i have an AR on my credit file for 1 month in sept 2012, this is on a basic Barclays bank account, its basic as i was bankrupt in 2008 and i am as of the 19th feb 2014 clear from having this awful black marker on my credit file. The account was put over drawn by a debit card transaction on £55, this took my account overdrawn by £53. its was overdrawn for a couple of weeks till my wages went into my account and ever since then my account has been run in credit.
Is it possible to get the AR removed? i have approached barclays bank who say its a true reflection of the account but i was lead to believe that an AR could only be applied if it were for a credit facility?
as its not a credit facility and a banking error allowing my debit card to put me over drawn surely the AR can't stay.
is an AR a bad marker to have on my account for 1 month? does it look like i got into trouble but then quickly got out of trouble?
everything else on my credit file is nearly perfect, no missed payments on O2 bill for over 6 years, no missed or late payments on my Capital one credit card since establishment in 2012, only the 1 black marker to go on the 19th regarding my bankruptcy
Thanks for you time and advice.

Did you actually make an arrangement? E.g I will clear it when paid?
They should have told you if they were logging the AR flag I would argue.
1 month late marker might have been more appropriate.
If Barclays rejected your complaint, the FOS is the only option you have.:beer:0
