put washing machine and dryer in downstairs loo

Is there a problem with putting the washing machine and tumble dryer in the downstairs toilet? There is enough room if we put the tumble dryer on top of the washing machine. It's just a toilet and sink there, no bath or shower.
The plugs could be fed through the wall to the room where they are at the moment. The dryer is a condenser one.
I don't know if there are legal restrictions re the electrics.
Thank you.

My parents have this as well as the people over the road. I dont know about the legal restrictions (I'd imagine that there arent any).
When the tumble dryer (condenser) runs its best to have the fan going.
There isnt much space once you've got the laundry basket in there.
but a bonus. you can sit on the toilet (lid up or down, your choice) and take it out the machine :-)
I personally think they are great use of dead space.[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

Yes, there are restrictions on this and the areas in which you can put appliances but you'd be best to check with an electrician as it isn't my area of expertise.
I would say though that appliances with mains electricity and sensitive electronics in areas of high humidity or dampness rarely ends well.
