Vodafone ' Defaulting ' Each month for the past 14 months...

Basically, I had a contract which I could no longer afford to pay some time ago,

since then the debt was passed over to a debt agency, payments have been going for over 12 months to them, supposedly to pay vodafone.

Are Vodafone still allowed to default me each month?

Comments

  • It should have a default date.

Its not a new default, just the same one applied each month.

It will fall off 6 years from the default date.

    Q. I see Ds or 8s each month. Do these new defaults mean the 6 years runs longer?

    A. No, as they are not new defaults, but merely status updates on the original default. Everything will still be removed 6 years from the original recorded default date.

    Hi mancboy12,

In addition to your concerns over the information recorded on your credit file, your post suggests that there may be a problem with your payments reaching us from the DCA.

If this is the case, could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here so I can get this looked into further?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?

Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. So I can make sure I've got it could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

    Kind regards,
