Bought an aerial for the TV on 6/02/14 to replace an old one damaged in the storms on the night before then the new one from Argos got damaged in the 80+ winds on the same night I had put it up, although I can still get a picture the aerial looks like a xmas tree with bits hanging off it. Spoke to customer services they spoke to the store I bought it from they did not want to replace it so the lady on customer services said they were wrong the aerial is for outdoor use it should have with stood bad weather and promised me a voucher for total price I paid so I can get it replaced without going on the roof twice, good business well done argos CS.

Yes I have to say ARGOS have always given me good service. I needed a new dishwasher and waited and waited for a good offer.
Went to HOMEBASE and asked to order an INDESIT for £203. The person told me the system was down and to come back tomorrow. It was an hour and a half away and I was not willing to make the same journey again. Went to ARGOS instead and the only one I could get for delivery that week was a BUSH for £200. So ordered that one.
Now in the boxing day sales, the same BUSH model was £156 but I held off as I wanted INDESIT as that was the brand of my previous washer.
Took delivery and then phoned ARGOS and explained that the HOMEBASE assistant could have taken a manual order and processed it later but that she never offered this. (I only found this out after speaking to a manager in HOMEBASE afterwards)
ARGOS sent me a gift card for £25 by way of goodwill.
So I was pleased and the model I got is just as good as my old one. Glad you got your situation sorted too.0
