The Short Ski Shop has always fully complied with The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 and all Distance Selling Regulations that apply to our online sales. As a family run business, we have a personal relationship with lots of our customers, many who return year after year. We remember this customer well but the statement below is not the complete picture. The customer accepted that she was outside the return period, but she failed to mention in this statement that we refunded her in full for 2 of the 3 items, going way beyond our legal requirements. We always try to accommodate requests where possible.
Should customers need to return an item, we supply information everywhere. Its front and centre on the Home page of the website, its on the customers order confirmation that's emailed to them, three times and a printed returns form is also included in every parcel. That's how easy it is for customers to access the information needed to return goods. Nothing tucked away or tricky to find, its all front and centre and easy to read. We also have a telephone number on the home page of the website for customers to contact us and not many website have this simple option these days. We have done this since we started in 2005 and nothing has changed. We try hard, we really do.

Does anybody else have a story to tell about the Short Ski Shop (an online skiwear shop)?
I made the mistake of thinking all companies are run by honourable people.
I bought 3 identical ski jackets in different sizes from the Short Ski Shop, so as to be sure of getting the one I needed in the short amount of time left before my holiday.
Unfortunately they were all a poor fit, so I tried to return them. But it turned out that this company sticks rigidly to the 7-day return rule. Even when the customer obviously isn't going to want to keep all the items ordered! I was TWO days over the 7 days. Now I have three ski jackets I don't need, completely unworn. Not the way to keep a customer!!!

I would guess they wouldn't want people like you as a customer anyway.
You ordered three items and decided you didn't want any of them but couldn't be faffed to let Short Ski Shop know within seven days. All you had to do was send them an email. How difficult is that?
Their Returns Policy is perfect clear and I congratulate Short Ski Shop for that.

Often I come out on the side of the consumer because there are a lot of shysters out there. Not on this occasion though.
