Good Morning All,
Does anyboby know if you have double glazed units which have failed they could be replaced under the Green Deal?.
I am currently looking into this to have old boiler and wooden windows replaced under this scheme but am unsure if they will look at upvc double glazing if I already have double glazed units( albeit all failed) in wooden window frames.

its not very likely, to fully finance a measure through Green Deal Loan it needs to be a cost effective improvement and meet the golden rule (i.e. the cost of the repayments is the same as or less than the energy saving from the installation)

Which is not going to happen even if your switching from single glazing to double glazing because double glazing has a 50 year plus repayment time and its not really a significant energy saving measure. The main benefit from double glazing is comfort and sound proofing.

Saying that you could finance part of the cost through the Green Deal but would have to make a contribution.

But you'd be better off getting a conventional loan because you will be paying around 7% interest on a green deal package
