I onlu use my mincer for sausages / mince meat. I now only use pork but you must have an amount of pork fat in there too.
I make skinless saugages, adding salt ( not too much) pepper and herbs.
The mincemeat I make pork burgers, (I have a burger maker from Lakelands) and I add 3 teaspoons of steak seasoning.
I have also made sausage plait. using the mince, add fine chopped carrort, diced onion and 2 teaspoons of mixed herbs. saly and pepper. Make into a large sausage shape about 9 inches long 3 inches wide and 2 inches deep. place in the middle of a sheet of pastry ( flaky is best) make slits on either side, and then wrap each one over the top of the other, making a plait appearance, brush with beaten egg and cook until sausage is cooked and pastry nice and brown.

I use my mincer for oranges when making marmalade! Either raw, then cook the pulp or cook the oranges then mince. (you need to let them cool a bit as the really hot splatters can burn)0
