Confused by Money Claim Online

Brief scenario:

Sole trader provided a service to my LTD which was (stupidly) paid in full before the job was finished. Surprise surprise, job was never finished as the guy simply didn't know what he was doing.

Here's where I am with MCOL:
  1. You submitted a claim on 16/07/2013 at 12:19:59
  2. Your claim was issued on 17/07/2013
  3. Mr X issued an acknowledgment of service on 06/08/2013
  4. You submitted a judgment against Mr X on 21/08/2013 at 09:39:00
  5. Your judgment against Mr X was issued on 22/08/2013
  6. You submitted a warrant against Mr X on 25/11/2013 at 14:36:01
  7. Your warrant against Mr X was issued on 27/11/2013
  8. A final return for your warrant against Mr X was received on 14/01/2014

Debt with fees to date now stands at £1400.

I've literally got no idea what's going on here and am struggling to make sense of the MCOL user help section.

I fear the guy concerned spends more time googling his legal rights than actually doing the work he's paid to do so i'm pretty sure he's somehow ahead of the game here.

What is it you don't understand?

You filed a claim and have secured a CCJ in defualt against the defendant. You then requested the court issue a warrant of execution to force the defendant to pay the amount awarded. This was granted, but it appears the bailiff was unsuccessful in obtainming your money.

There are other options to consider in enforcing the judgement. You really should have considered these before asking for the warrant, but better late than never :)

As a matter of interest, what did the defendant say in their acknowledgement of service?
