Urgent Halifax question

I'm usually paid into my Halifax current account by BACs on a Monday and when I go on online banking the payment is usually showing by a couple of minutes past midnight.
I have an incoming BACs payment due from a company who owe me money. It is due to credit to my account Wednesday 12th February (ie today). But I just checked my online banking at about quarter past midnight and there is no sign of the payment. Does this mean the company has scammed me and not made the payment?
Or does Halifax update it's incoming payments a little later during weekdays?

i'm sat here refreshing it too as i want to move my wages to where they need to be, but they do seem to take longer as i'm sure years ago when i was with nationwide the money was in at 12am and with HSBC it used to be pending the day before it went in:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

You post at 12.33am about not having received a credit expected 18 minutes earlier.
Next time go to bed. Sleep like a baby. Check in the morning.
Online banking is a wonderful thing. But using it to stress yourself out with like this is madness!0
