Nitpicking, but, should be "Yours Faithfully".
"Yours Sincerely" if addressing a particular person.0 -

"You received a letter from me" is perfectly correct and as formal as it needs to be.
You wouldn't write "my brother and sister visited, and we gave themselves a bottle of wine", would you?If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
