Want free chicken? Prepared to stare at a screen for it?

KFC are giving away loads of wings, wraps & snackboxes if you can watch chicken on your laptop screen without blinking. When you win you can download a PDF with a unique code that you'll need to print off and use before the 16th.

It's definitely more difficult than it looks- you get five tries and you'll need a computer with a webcam to do this.

My top tips are:

- Turn your screen brightness down

- DON'T MOVE, it can be mistaken for a blink

- Try not to look at the screen, just sort of stare through it

-Cheat and close your eyes after the final blink to start the game. Open them after the music stops.

I've tried this twice now. Got all the way to the end with out blinking and then it freezes. Anyone any idea how I get the voucher?

A page should come up at the end for you to choose your prize and click to download a pdf voucher. Maybe try a different internet browser.

A key tip for those that are struggling with this. If you have a laptop hooked up to the TV, then this is simple to complete.

All you have to do is stare at the laptop screen, which in my case is blank.

Yes, you have to stare at your own reflection but, hey, that's not so bad, is it?

The voucher is only valid for 5 days so may be worth planning when you are going to KFC before playing the game.

I did this with my laptop's built in webcam and the lighting isn't great in my room, I'm sure I blinked multiple times, but it only registered me blinking once towards the end.

I got myself a snackbox voucher and downloaded the PDF it comes in (then had to convert it to a JPG to put it on my iphone) luckily we have a KFC in my town centre which is only a two minute walk from my house. I used it last night, the poor counter staff were a bit confused how to process it but the manager came over and sorted it out and I got a mini fillet breast snackbox, which is basically a decent sized piece of chicken and a large chips.

I brought it home to eat and really enjoyed it - it was actually my first KFC meal, then I stopped in again this afternoon and they accepted the voucher again with no problem - I don't know if this will be ok in other KFC's but in mine they didn't write down the voucher number and it was different staff when I went in. I told my cousin about the offer because he lives directly opposite the KFC so he and his partner can both put the vouchers on their phones and take advantage of the free food.

I have to say if you can get the snackbox it's worth it, the size of the chicken and the chips is very filling.

Couldn't you just get an a4 print out of your face and hold that up in front of your webcam?
