Wierd F2F with ATOS

Just got back from what has to be the most weirdest F2F assessment I have ever had to go through.

The doctor called me in and sat me down. We went through the medical information, how my life is now and what treatment I have had in the past 3 years. As I was talking she was writing.
At the end she gave me the statement that she had written and asked me to sign it. The basics were there but that was about it, she had written down her interpretation of what I had said.
Reading through it, it sounded as though I was on my way out! Next stop - the undertakers!
After I signed it she told me that I should not have to keep on having these medicals. She will do her best to make sure that I keep my benefit and was reporting to the DWP that it should be a 'for life award'.

I trust very few people, and she is at the top of that list! Talk about two faced - we all know what she really means!! Took about 20 mins all in.

Looks like I have a fight on my hands again. Why do ATOS sink so low by trying to be your best buddy?

You really should check your past threads so you can get your story straight.

Hi, My wife is 69 and receives her state pension, and I am due mine in June when I attain 65. She receives max Attendance Allowance and I receive max mobility and mid care of DLA. We both claim Carers Allowance for each other.
We receive a top up of Guaranteed Pension credit of £116.32 a week which takes our combined income from all sources up to approx. £588 a week excluding Council tax Benefit.

    Boring.
  • With all the ailments you have told us about on this forum, you do sound as if you are on the way out.
Make yourself a bucket list, enjoy the rest of your life instead of spending so much time here.

I have and being on this site is right at the top of the list.

Are you a re-incarnation of a previous poster? Your posts are mightily similar to someone that used to be on this site but was evicted!

    Are you the resident nutjob?

    Here it is.....

This shows the inconsistency in your posts...

I can't believe that you continually post such garbage regarding your circumstances.

btw....Is amnesia a condition that you suffer from ?

  • Not one post that is relevant in any way to the original comments made in my first post.

Seems that people on here are more interested in posting rubbish than dealing with it.

Still I'm happy, so I'll move on and upwards.

There are NO life awards for ESA now.

The maximum is 3 years, and it wouldn't be up to ATOS anyway.

Why do you persist in posting this rubbish, which may make those, without experience think that life awards exist?

    Lin :(
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
