New generation parking notice at asda

Hi,
I have today received a parking charge notice from new generation parking for parking in a disabled bay at asda in cardiff retail park.
I had no ticket on the car and only knew of this when I had this letter today. They are asking for £60 if paid within 14 days or £100 after.
My mother in law was the passenger and her badge must have dropped off as she got out, unsure as I knew nothing of this until today.
What should I do?
Thinking of going to the store, if so do I ask for the manager?
Many thanks

Your situation is nothing new. Please see the NEWBIES sticky thread (referenced in my signature).
Contacting the store (with a copy of the BB) and getting them to get it cancelled is one of the angles of defence you should take - ASDA may say they cannot do this as they don't own the car park; they are lying.
A blue badge is not a term that can be enforced. The Equality Act 2010 (which is The Law, not some trumped up PPC parking term for an invoice) says that "reasonable adjustment" must be made. A BB is not the definitive indicator that a person needs reasonable adjustment.

Definitely start with the Store manager - harassment of a disabled person is unlawful. Read the stickies, complaints and appeals are fully covered:
