Hi

Is there anyone that has the above sort of central heating? If so can you tell me the sort of property you have, what sort of insulation, the temperature you like and roughly how many kWhs you get through in a year?
Thanks.

Too vague, however single occupancy 3 bed semi, with evening heating around 19 c, say about. 8 - 12,000Kwh a year.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

My mother had such a system installed in the days when Staywarm was assessed purely on the basis of number of bedrooms and number of occupants, as I knew it was going to be costly.

It was certainly very costly, tho I'm afraid I can't track down the kWhs used after this period of time.

Suffice it to say that Staywarm started getting twitchy and eventually kicked her off the tariff.

It's not really viable in a normal 3-bed semi.
