Buying tickets online

Be warned and be careful, I recently purchased tickets on line with Ryanair or so I thought! I had googled Ryanair and hit the first return which was edreamsryanair! I made my booking only to realise I had been duped into paying an agent an extra £24.40 for the privilege. So please all be extra careful especially when booking on line.

companies like edreams should be banned they are scumbags
lots of companies pay google money to get on top of searches just to fleece unsuspecting buyers
same happens with easyjet
and things like passports and driving licences0 -
The general view is firstly look to see which website you are landing on, and in all cases avoid e-dreams (and opodo who they now own) like the plague0

Some people should never use the Internet :cool:0 -
This is that same scam that was mentioned on BBC Money box a few weeks ago. Google are part of the scam in not identifying that you are going to an advertiser site and not the correct company / gov agency, so yes Google are doing evil.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

Alan Bowen, why do you advice not to buy with Opodo? I've bought from them a few times; the last one being 2 mins ago!0

There are increasing concerns that Opodo is going the same way as E dreams always has been, many airlines no longer sell special rates to them so you are either being sold the published fare, that any agent can sell (plus a service fee in most cases) or they are buying in the tickets from other agents, which means you are likely to be paying more than you need to.0
