Trusteer Rapport puts bad certificates on bank websites

My dad's laptop is on W7 and when he goes onto MBNA and Santander websites (where he banks) he finds the Trusteer Rapport screen comes up saying bad certificate and cannot go any further.
He is getting anxious as to why this is. He uses them about twice a week and only had issues since Friday.
Plus wanting to sort it out by the end of the week as needs to transfer a considerate sum of money for me for the solicitors.
Can anyone help me and my Dad? Ideally links as I can forward them to Dad in an e-mail.

or does he click on emails, google searches etc...?
Also his PC may have the wrong date/time but that is not always obvious, but if he is using BT at home then he may be using another BTOpenzone/FON hotspot rather than his own router.
