Honda Civic 2011 split on roof
Honda Civic 2011 Split on roof
I bought my Honda Civic from Crewe Honda Dealership on 09/04/13 for £10k mileage 32000. The car had a dint on the roof and I said that if Crewe Honda have the dint pulled out I will buy the car, which they did. Then on 24/09/13 I noticed some split/rust on the roof on took it back to Crewe Honda. Each month I have been in touch with service manager on the phone about the issue and he said that emails keep going back and forth to the warranty department. In January my car was due it's first MOT so I booked it in and asked about the claim once again he said that he is dealing with the issue. On 29/01/14 I sent the below email as the split/rust is getting worse on the car. He passed me over to sales manager and he said that as Honda are saying that it's not a fault with the paint work and Honda are saying it's the roof bars fitted to my car this is the reason for the split/rust, and as a good will gesture Crewe will pay if I pay £100 towards the final bill.
I still disagree that the roof bars are to blame as they do not fit onto the car at the same point as the split/rust on the roof, which was reported back on 24/09/13. I believe that having the dent pulled out has caused the split on roof and rust is getting worse so I have no choice but do pay £100.
I have bought a Honda car as Honda have an immaculate reputation. I feel very happy that Crewe Honda will foot most of the bill but very disappointed with the result of me having to pay £100 towards the bill. what are my right and how do I claim the money back with the help of photos? Please help

I'd pay the £100 and move on. Yes, you could continue arguing your position, but life's too short!0
