Doing it your way is how links get broken

1 You should click "quote" on first post
2 copy all text that shows in the reply box in the next window
3 Go to the "gone, but was it any good" board and click "new thread"
4 Paste the quoted post from step. 2
5 Crucially, delete the [ quote=abc;123456] from the start of the text and [ /quote] from the end of the text
6 add a title and post

i do know that this way the links get broken, perhaps you would tell me how you can quote previous threads when they are all closed. this threads links are already broken so quoting it would make no difference. that's why i made the point of saying the links are broken on this thread. read the detail dear chap
