Had a good day shopping today, went to Mr Shoes first and bought 2 x Burberry Touch 100ml which was a fantastic bargain - sprayed some on a tester and it is lovely. Also got the 9p toothpaste (for charity box) and added to my nappy stock in the 3 for 2 deal as I am going to be a grandma again (ssh not allowed to tell anyone yet).
After that we went into town for a late breakfast followed by Big Mr Shoes, DP, Debenhams and ended by going to JL for our free coffee and cake (1st time) so many thanks to the op for that one. I do like a good rummage.
Now sitting with my achy feet up and going to watch Call the Midwife while on the lappy as well.0 -

Evening all.
Hope everyone's had a fab SundayBlackBeltGirl wrote: »Hello everyone
I've been lurking for a while now and decided to put my head around the door and say hello.
I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who finds the glitches as they are a great help to me at the moment :T. I gave up a job I hated last year to start my own business and have been living off my savings since then so I have to be very careful with money. I managed some 1p goodies and was able to donate some to my mum's church too and am getting my head around the pp now. I don't have an A near me so it's all T shops for me.
I have an OH, two DS's of my own and a step DS too so 5 of us to feed.
I've been out and done a burger/muller shop earlier today, I also needed some Philly which compared to M too so a pp of £9.98 back from a £17.85 spend :j.
I enjoy keeping up with all your goings on as and when my business allows and hopefully I might be able to contribute too
Hi and welcome blackbeltgirl.
That is awesome lutzi :T
Truly brilliant- you are a clever cookie :TTrulyMadly wrote: »PD....my heart goes out to you. I have some experience of this in a professional capacity and I know how hard it can be for someone to fight this addiction. What I do know is that all you can do is support him and be there when he needs you.Sometimes it's tough love that's required.:o
Your brother is the only one who can make it happen and things might have to get really bad before he realises this. On a positive note countless people succeed in overcoming this and I hope and pray your brother will come through it. Thinking of you :A
Defo agree with this TM, until someone decides that they want/need help there really is nothing you can do to persued them otherwise. Hope your brother makes the right decision PD x
Cookieraider- the hardest part of anything is asking for help. Just the realisation that you know things have to change is a huge step in the right direction. You have all the support you can want right here. X

lutzi that's awesome! Another nomination from me for you to start the next thread."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

lutzi, a brilliant, laugh inspiring idea that only an elite will appreciate:cool:
I agree with zippy, next thread must be yours.
Not having a clue how to go about it won't wash hun. I was honoured with a nomination to start one last year while on holiday, and felt the same. The Elite helped me do it, with loads of advice and help.
Your youtube cheered me up no end. I was feeling really low today after my fifth lot of bad luck hit me in less than three weeks, so thank you.

Bless you, glad to have been of help. x You give great pleasure to so many of us with your beautiful photographs. :A xx
If nobody else is in line I could take a look, thanks, but don't wish to stand on anybody's toes.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
