Very stressful and exciting times.

Just been chatting to a mate of mine who works for T's. He told me that this morning staff had to take 2 different kettles off the shelf as they were scanning at 1p, he didn't see which ones except that were T's rapid boil ones. And apparently, this friday they are selling all the 1p stuff they can find and will be selling it all to staff for 10% of original cost in aid of charity!!!
Evening,
Many thanks scampsfor your kettle information.
I had a look this evening at the rapid boil kettles since ours had stopped working a while ago so this would have been great but the store (FB) had put a new barcode over the original one which scanned for £10Although when I returned home Hubby voluntered to go to another store (CL) which he could only see the display model so he asked if they had any out the back which the assistant returned with one that had a reduced label on for £1.25, however upon going through the self service till the alarm sounded with message saying "removed from sale" but the lovely young assistant put it through :j:j:j
(It is a Black Tesc0 Rapid Boil Kettle, origional barcode ends 4860)0 -
Don't know if this redeems a little.
Not v.much though.
Tvs M
Plenty Kitchen Towel Fun Prints - 75 Sheets per Roll (4)£5.86 £2.93 (but only if you have really valuable product-specific MOC in my view, and needing to check again carefully as this is msm linking them up)
Honey Monster Foods Sugar Puffs (320g)£2.29 £1.00 (but v. expensive per unit even on M price)
Aunt Bessie's Light & Fluffy Dumplings (8 per pack - 390g)£1.25 99p
Cadbury Time Out (8x16g)£1.59 £1.00 (also Tvs S?) - but v. expensive per g. - msm suggesting save 74p by switching to Penguin or a saving by switching to Kit Kat/Kit Kat Chunky (but even then: the '74p' is for the 9 pack Penguin at £1 which is a pants price compared to 24 pack Penguin at time when that does on half price (£2.14) in T and the Kit Kat Chunky is the £1 for 4 pack variety - not even the 4 +4 'free' = 8, so that's way too expensive even on that 'saving', and the Time Out 8 at £1 even more so):D.
Just shows, it could be argued, what a rip-off some of these normal offer prices are sometimes.0 -

Can't believe I've had the page open on the mystery wines for weeks, and decided to do a factory reset on my laptop a couple of days ago and lost all my favourites.
Wasn't meant to be.
And my laptop no better either, it looks like I'm going to have to removed that stupid windows 8 and go back to one of the older versions. I just can't do a thing with it, hate it with a vengeance.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0
