  • good morning everyone

    my womble from yesterday

    1 x Morliny Krakowska Slices (80g) £1.20 N/A
1 x Air Wick Reed Diffuser Cool Linen & White Lilac £7.98 £6.99
    1 x Cofresh Caramel Peanuts (80g) £1.02 N/A
    1 x ASDA Seedless Red Grapes (500g) £1.50 £2.50
    1 x ASDA Spring Onions £0.50 N/A
    1 x ASDA Ready to Eat Bananas (5) £1.00 N/A

    1 x Magners Pear Cider (568ml) £1.98 £1.50
    1 x Pringles Salt & Vinegar (190g) £2.30 £1.25
    1 x Nestle Pure Life Spring Water (12x500ml) £2.00 £2.00
    1 x Yeo's Soy Bean Drink (6x250ml) £2.00 N/A

Comparison total (compared products only) £15.76 £14.24

on bottom of receipt, it says "cider 3 for £5 589L -£0.25"
also on receipt there Guinness not on APG

looking on MSL the magners cider is not showing 3 for £5

question, if you get 3 ciders A v S pay £5, apg thinks you pay £5.94,
    apg £1.44 + 10%(£0.45)

so £3.11 for 3 pint bottles?

If magners is on multi instore but not msm then it looks good

I don''t think the guiness is the only thing missing. Unless they bought 2 guiness and they were triggers on the cider multi

Some of the items on your receipt will have an L at the end of the barcode number. Can you post those numbers and the descriptions that go with them and we might be able to work out what they bought?
Maybe it was 2x Guinness and 1 x cider....

i have looked on msm at this, and i think that the magners has nothing to do with the 3 for £5 multi at all.

the cheapest product on msm in this offer is £1.75 each and the discount taken off is only 25p so this person must have bought 3x £1.75 items and the magners (which is priced at £1.98?) is nothing to do with the multibuy. Or the discount would have been bigger.

Just my theory mind but happy to be proved wrong as my OH loves Magners:D

Has mastered within 1 week how to use the cat flap. Mr P took 9 months & it involved the use of a peg :o

How was Sri Lanka? I got married in Sri Lanka 16 years ago...

Hot, sunny and dry - only had a couple of hours rain early one morning and that dried up by the time we finished breakfast.

We stay near Kalutara at the Mermaid Hotel (and have done every year since the tsunami) and I doubt you would get better service anywhere even in a 5* hotel. The Mermaid is only listed as 3* plus but the service and welcome makes it worth far more than that. And of course, the bag full of 1p chocolate oranges and various other glitched goodies does help to keep everyone smiling.

They didn't have any UK weddings there this year and no Sri Lankan Homecomings either which was a shame as they really are well done.

Sounds lovely, sure make you feel so welcome. When we when we were the only ones that got married there and for the whole 3 weeks made us feel so special. It was really nice. X
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)
