ive just had a call from a lovely lady at Barclays, I claimed my account fees (the monthly fees for accounts with benefits, not for going overdrawn etc) back a month or so ago.....
she is refunding me them in full, plus 8%, plus £50 - made my day :T
Rhos I am so sorry - I have been thinking about something to say all morning but there really are no words.......then I felt horrible posting and not at least acknowledging your situation. I hope you all receive the love and support you need to get through this time.0 -
I thought you had to buy the gels only in 2's otherwise the 3 for £5 multibuy kicks inColin_Hunt wrote: »Many thanks OP.
I did a shop @10.54.
Six shaving gel and my usual handful of cheap sweets (I aim under £10 for APG), behind me at checkout was a woman with a couple of ankle biters both asking for sweets so I bagged the gels and said " your kids can have these sweets if they want", "Oh thanks" she said, loved the face on her and her kids, but the checkout woman was a picture.
I hope I get kids behind me every time now.Never pay more than you have too0 -

You might need a Sky freesat card - £25 squids.methinks.
we cancelled sky a couple of years ago and all the equipment still works we dont get sky1 and some of the other good channels but its basically like a freeview box once you stop paying. we still have our original card in it. we have unplugged it from the phoneline - just sometimes it says you haven't got this channel ring sky to upgrade

I'm back - no choccies to be found anywhere
Probably just as well considering I'm still on 5:2 :rotfl:
Collected my C/C order - no subs as "nothing suitable" in stock!
As just tried to deliver mine and I had the same, no sub's as nothing unsuitable
I wasn't paying delivery on a loaf of bread so told them I'd ordered the wrong one and refused that.
Poor driver, my loaf of bread didn't half look lonely :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

very sad news to post this morning my dd1 and her partner had a baby girl, she survived barely an hour,
they found out on friday that the baby had Edwards syndrome and could not decide what to do next but the decision was taken out of their hands when she went into labour. Its hard to find the right words to say to them i think alls we can do is be there for them.
So sad for your DD1 and her partner and you and the families, my thoughts are with you:A0 -
