Tell it like it is savvy:T:T:T
The way your talking here is so like my ds2 where everything is black or white with no middle ground:) it's taken me a while to get his way of thinking:) at times I find it hard going:o

    Thank you!
I thought I was going a bit too much and slightly hesitating in my posting or wanting to change it to sound slightly less harsh - but glad I didn't hold back! Sometimes telling it as it is is the most virtuous and best way! More should do it more often.

    But no-one will like this:o.

It's actually called "Tell It Like It T-I-is" but I could only find a live version currently online with the correct title so had to settle for this.

"Where everything is black and white...". Yeah, that's (don't want to go on about it/bore people:o:o:o) an autistic style too - I'm sure FC can add a two penn'orth into this there! Look - it should be black and white - no room for lack of clarity, doubt or confusion. Sometimes the black-and-white approach is best: we know where we stand. If FC is here, FC how do you 'get' the way of thinking of your 'clever lad' in this/similar regards? (TIA.)

Just popped on to report AvT Bombay Pots did not work for me today. They did yesterday
10 items on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Tesco
    +£2.24

    1 x ASDA Smartprice Chopped Tomatoes (400g) £0.31 £0.34
    4 x ASDA Chosen by You Bombay Potato (400g) £3.80 N/A:(:(:(
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Tomato Soup (400g) £0.24 £0.24
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Cream of Chicken Soup (400g) £0.24 £0.24
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Still Water (2L) £0.17 £0.17
    1 x 7 Up Free (4x330ml) £1.50 £1.19
    1 x Mars Funsize - Variety (45 per pack - 783g) £6.95 £5.00
    1 x Candyland Flumps Mallow Twists £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Haribo Starmix £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Haribo Tangfastics £0.10 £0.10
    1 x ASDA Smartprice New Potatoes in Water (550g) £0.15 £0.14

Comparison total (compared products only) £9.86 £7.62
    [...]

At risk of, at best, 'being controversial', I wouldn't have chosen 780-odd grammes vs a £5.00 price:eek:. Don't we have 180-nearly 200g at £1 prices sometimes? If so, hope that this helps us be more savvy and know the 'tricks' (of the trade) of 'price perception' and referential pricing to navigate the constant price yo-yoing that we see in stores all around us each week - and how even prices that remain what is said to be 'low' are sometimes perhaps being kept too costly!!:)
    from a womble today

    A v M

    1 x ASDA Cucumber Portion£0.40£0.25
    2 x Aunt Bessie's Giant Yorkshire Puddings (2 per pack...£3.00£2.00
    2 x Walkers Doritos Mild Salsa (326g)£2.50£2.29
    1 x ASDA Sour Cream & Chive Dip (215g)£1.00£0.92
1 x ASDA Reduced Fat Creamy Coleslaw (600g)£1.24£1.20

Meanwhile I've switched to the 50p Whole Cucumber (switch and switch and switch;)) now it is vs cheaper than twice the amount of the 'half' ones. Though that depends on how long the whole cucumbers in stock in the store I used are:(.
