  • Really needed dry weekend and so it was! My car is leaking from somewhere and the back seat has been soaked through all week, so its had the boot emptied, carpets removed, and sitting in the drive with all doors open. Still not dry enough to sit on, but at least the seat is no longer dripping wet. Think its seal round the back lights from research on web....

    Bird table in the backgarden has been a hive of activity. Wagtails for the first time, and a solitary coaltit. Now seem to have 7 bluetits regularly visiting all at the same time. Also a greater spotted woodpecker briefly had a look. But OH seems to spend more on food for the birds than I do for all of us...:rotfl:

    Burgers worked. Visited a pet shop for cat food, but it was shut :rotfl:
    :hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:

    Oh no, not again!!:eek::eek::eek:

    Does this mean that I can order dozens more bottles of 2L coke that are full price (no multis on any variety) on A.com, pay £2.50 per 2 and get an apg of £3.96 v £2.50 each time A v T??

    Think that would make it just under 40p a bottle. Not as good as December, but still quite a decent price..:D

    The multi buys are showing on msm which is where the APG prices are generated so I don't see a glitch at the moment. Unless I am way behind the times with the glitches now. :o:o

    Just wondering if within this place that truly appears to be the font of all knowledge anyone has experience with price match policies on websites?

    If site x (price match in place) is selling something at £100 and site y for £80, but site x has the identical product plus items added in for free which y does not have will that get site x out of pm on grounds its not identical or is the fact you pay more for site x product and the extra is shown as free mean the plus free is a side issue? Or would y have to be selling it with the free items included as well?

    Seedless red grapes are a good filler - 2 x 500g packs are £1.50 each in A, 2 for £2 M.

    Ps Savvy - sp ham 400g £1.49 Av£1.65 M, sp chicken roll £1 Av£1.06 M

    Do the Seedless Red Grapes pick up M's mbuy though?:think:

    As for the ham and the chicken roll, yes I know:) - I walked past the ham on my shop vs M and thought how expensive that is:rotfl: , 10% chpr vs M is about £1.48 and a half, so doesn't lose APG, but, due to the following, I don't bother with that version vs M now, and the Chicken Roll is also more expensive for M than the same other competitor:
    SP W/T Ham 400g £1.65 Avs £1.50 S, SP Chicken Roll £1vs £1 S.

    So - the more expensive ham is cheaper.

    usually it has to be exactly i.e no freebies on one site that aren't on the other, sorry

    it just looks like Asda are updating, unless some of the multis don't reappear but still work in store, if the coke and 3 for £10 multis don't reappear could be a goer.

    Difficult but i would say the bold part is likely the case. Like for like is the only practical way of applying it

    Thank you for that speedy reply, much appreciated. I have never had any dealings with price match, supermarkets aside, so had no idea though suspected that would be the case.
