Wondering if going to a pain management clinic may help?

I have had many problems with pain and I was referred to a pain management specialist who is absolutely fantastic.

She has reviewed my medications, reassured me I am not completely mad and deluded as well as offering me a place on a "living well with pain" ten week course.

Unfortunately I had to stop the course after two weeks as my mum was very poorly but I am due to start again in the summer. It is based on mindfulness and even the two sessions have made a bit of a difference. It's run by occupational therapists and physios. It was also great to talk to people in a similar situation who understand how isolating pain can be.

PM if you would like any more info

good morning all,can any1 tell me if the boots wipes are still wrking please x

I don't think many of us have tried it as it is a bit hit and miss as to whether you can get the SA to scan the wipes as a multiple rather than individually.

Can someone confirm if I have imagined this.

I seem to have a vague memory on a previous thread someone saying they had APG vouchers put onto a gift card at customer services.

Have I made this up or can anyone else remember this?

Is it even possible or against t&c's of the APG?

    TIA.
I've not done it as such.. but back in the summer, I'd buy shopping at the till and ask for £5/£10 to go on Xmas saver card, then use APG's. I did that so my "total" went up if it was a glitchy (normally muller) shop. So i guess the answer is kind of yes when combined with shopping:p

I did during the big APG glitch but when I tried at CS recently I was told no and HO said the same. I was moving house and had let a couple of APGs get to 1 day before they'd lapse so had to do a muggle shop or lose them. Didn't want to risk a gift card in case they were keeping an eye on me,

    Morning all.....
Round at my folks at the moment. Mums on pretty good form, about the best she's been for some time, so things looking pretty good.

Just caught up on about 10 pages. Thanks for the laughs from the early hours night shift, and the info on 'What men are like' in the last couple of pages. No-one should ever ask me why I have stayed single.... It's sooooo obvious. :D:D:D

Great comments on greed too. I agree with D.Dotties first post back just after midnight, and some replys to it. Some very wise words have been said in the first few pages of this thread, and worded in a much better way than I could express, but I just wanted to say I agree. :A

Lets continue this new thread in the friendly manor it has begun with, pick up the odd glitch as it comes along, take the hits when the come without complaint, and make sure we all uphold the original Elite traditions. :j:money::j

reading back and having a giggle here thanks for all the funny posts and to qoc for her bus exploits x

one of my own, my son is doing work on green issues and recycling at school and in a test he was asked to list some of the cleverest ways to recycle, he put " Mums friends have taught her to recycle money by continuously using the same payment to get more and more shopping, then she recycles the shopping as gifts":rotfl::rotfl:

not sure what the teacher is going to think:D

she will think you are an international money launderer :rotfl: watch out for her befriending you :D

Just remembered I found the NIKE blue/green back packs on Saturday. :o

Scanned £15 but I did notice the B/C was different to penny one I had written down so watch that one in stores without scanners. ;)

I found this backpack today, exact barcode as the 1p one, but unfortunately scanned at £15.00:eek::eek:

We have snow here aswell, came out of tosco and it was really heavy and its sticking.:mad:
