I was also in Chester today :j

The weather was so foul we didn't get to Tpsco - just did what we needed and went home again.

We went to crabtrees and swapped 2 old hand creams for 2 new ones - assistant said its only one per customer and then I pointed out my OH stood next to me - 5 foot 11 and 16 stone - and told the assistant that he was also a customer :rotfl:
She tried to say that she had not seen him but gave up when she realised how absurb a thing to say ..:rotfl:

The across the road to Loctaine to get 2 handcream sets :T

(so now I have 8 handcreams!)

And then onto Picture and Piano for free drinks which were mostly crushed ice :(.

Well this was my experience at Tesco after Chester round dinnertime. Had a good look round but couldn t see and meal deals for £20. Then I came across a few sorry states of items on the narrow edge of a shelf. Aah I thought, one prosecco there so took that and 2 lamb shanks, two of the pommes potatoes but no sweets shock horror lol.

I took the leaflet stating what was on offer and had a look in the usual desserts place but nothing, not even the cheese. So I go to a lad on the cs desk . Very apologetic but that doesn t give me my £10 pp does it lol. Asked could I have two other sweets instead. He phones up this lad called Dale who I knew as a lad who lodged with my son Darren a couple of years ago who thought it was fine not to pay any keep  He didn t last long

When I collared him about it at the time he came up with some excuse after excuse. He then says to. Darren why did you have to get your mum involved. He got me involved because it was me who was bailing Darren out for about 6 months with half his mortgage money that he wasn t getting of this *** rag.

Hope you are all keeping up lol. Anyway this. Dale over the phone says no there s nothing they can do. If he d have seen me I'd have thought it was because of out history but he didn t so I can't blame that lol.

I was nt going to be beaten though and went in search of other things that might go through for the £20. Found 2 of the desserts in the £10 meal deal section so I thought they might work and I also took 2more of the pommes mash just in case. Then I get 10 fillers and go to my friend on the checkout and say to her I m going to be a right pest lol .

Told he what I d like her to do , try these meals till some work for the £20. The sweets didn t work (shame) so I said can she try the extra mash. She said that won t work but I said it should. She tried and it did : D. So I got the deal with the fillers, used a£5.99 pp from the beef burgers yesterday and I said I should have a £10 pp now and there it was happy Susie :D

Went back in straight after and bought 12 of the apple juices and some Buscopan ibs relief tablets to see if that will help with my bloated stomach everytime I eat something but that's another story.

Also got my free handcream and KFC so a good morning apart from the solid rain and wind .

Just to let you know, mine have been added to my account.
    That was quick!!!:):):):)

Great I will go and check mine now - thanks for the update :D

Yes its gone on already - how quick is that!

I've had to send for a new card, mine is no where to be seen :( but at least I've got a few points on this account now.

This is what I love about the elite, how we pitch in and encourage each other, I would never have dared ring HQ to get points added unless some very kind people gave me a gentle push :)

Result - according to the packet my Finest A La Carte Gammon in cider sauce is best eaten with the Finest pommes puree...that's lucky then!

I so can't wait for my tea tonight!

We have rain pouring into our porch and coming down our chimney not sure if we are lucky the fire place is sealed off or whether the plasterboard will give way.

Sounding worse than Wednesday outside, glad me and Mr TS went out for lunch instead of an evening meal. Had to put my clothes on the radiatior when I got in, heavens opened as I came out of Ts with a trolley load of shopping. Drowned rat would have been an understatement. :o

The lamb shanks say best eaten with the Cornish creamy mash but I am sure the Finest Pommes puree will be a good substitute. :rotfl:

Are they not actually the same thing? ;)

I'm sure they do it on purpose! Shame you didn't get the SA that I did, think I got lucky though. She wasn't going to put any more through like mine with the different puds because she said there wouldn't be any of those left for the £10 deals, shelf pretty bare as it was.
