It is one of the MSE rules that discount codes and vouchers must only be posted on the one board here
and must comply with the rules of that board which are here. Additional info on the specific rule can be found here

The rules were put in place for valid legal reasons.

Incidentally, I didn't write the rules, just have to ensure they are adhered to.
