I had a complaint against First Utility, which was upheld by the Ombudsman, although the point about "Loyalty Bonus" was dismissed, due to lack of evidence.
Back in October 2013 FU were told to do comply with conditions OFGEM set out, including compensation, FU have not complied, and now have DCA chasing the account.
Although I have a case number and have contacted them through their Estage2 mailbox at least 5 times, they still have not responded, apart from acknowledgement.
I am seriously thinking of going the court route against FU, for the time, stress and correspondence costs.0 -
Well finally contacted OFGEM by telephone today.
Hey, they can see my e-mails that have come in:-
"Has no one replied to you?"
Have First Utility not complied?
Eh NO!!!!
Operator now going to transfer the complaint to another team, who will get back to me.
I'm not holding my breath.0 -
So phone call yesterday from FU, I was not in:-
"The Ombudsman told me to phone you."
"Sorry he is not in, call back after 3.00 pm"
24 hours later, still I wait.0
