Flight only to Ontario Canada

My friend has asked me to look for a flight for her to Patterson airport in Ontario, Canada. Departing 20th October and returning 25th October. The cheapest I can find is £650 per person which seems quite a lot for flight only. Can anyone recommend a site that does cheap long haul flights? I'm really not sure where or what i should be looking for.

Do you mean Pearson airport, serving Toronto?
And where in the UK would your friend be flying from? Have a look at canadianaffair and/or airtransat.

Yes, make sure you know where your friend means otherwise any price will be too high! Air Transat has a fare of £492 to Toronto on those exact dates from Gatwick, other airlines have a Saturday night rule which makes fares very high. If they can stay one more night, Saturday night, the fares will be lower but you are getting close to school half term at the end of October so they won't be giveaway

Yes, she probably means Pearson! She's staying at the Econo Hotel, London, Ontario which is just around the corner from the family she is visiting. She managed to get a really good deal on the room because she booked direct, it's just the flights that are proving expensive!

She doesn't mind where she flies from, she just wants the cheapest flight possible. Our nearest airport is Cardiff but she's open to travel.
