England - NHS Opt Out

Not sure if this is the correct place to post.
However, have those of you who have a GP registered in England received your letter?
It seems like unless you opt out, your medical details can be shared with outside agencies (according to Radio 5 last night insurance companies, employers etc). I may be wrong (!), but I think you have approximately 2 weeks to opt out.
I will opt out as I think Doctor/patient confidentiality will be breeched. Anybody else either opting in or opting out?

No, it's not the correct place to post.
It would've been better if you had posted on the already existing thread:

If you have opted out of Royal Mail unaddressed mail then you won't receive the leaflet. It isn't an opt out form anyway, and I imagine you can find its contents online.0

The opt out of summary care records is not the same as the new care data opt out, they are two different things. Summary care data stops data being supplied to other health professionals other than your GP whereas the new caredata leaflets are to have your medical data given to all and sundrey.0
