@MadMike - I am sorry I may have made a mistake regarding your intentions. This thread certainly appeared to have all the hallmarks of someone called Michael Perkins who owns Combined Parking Solution, one of the parking companies.

You're giving MP too much credit ! He neither runs CPS ( his wife is the only director ) nor really owns it ( he only has a 10% share ownership which is worth the princely sum of £1 - rich he isn't ! )

I'm sorry I also failed to address one of your questions.

Firms of solicitors must be registered with the Law Society. Neither Harcourt Ltd no Harcourt Legal Services are so registered although Harcourt Ltd are registered as a company, though not a law firm, who employ a solicitor who does not offer their service to the public.

It is now possible for companies other than traditional law firms - manned and operated by solicitors - to offer certain legal services to the public such as those handling accident and PPI claims. Generally, they have unqualified staff who have contact with the public but they are managed and supervised by a solicitor. Such companies are known as "Alternative Business Structures" (ABS) and these must be registered and approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Harcourt Legal Services are not registered with the Law Society and nor are they registered with the SRA as an ABS.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Yeah I know - must have had a mental block - SHOULD HAVE SAID ASSOCIATED WITH - company webby thingy also states MP has resigning from 4 companies and holding appointments at 6 dissolved companies - hence the deduction 46 in MadMike46. Do you think MP resigned as they are going to phoenix again soon?

If they win, which will be hard when you have a car park inviting people to park.
Bit like asking certain people not to sit on a park bench.

They are inviting their customers in when they are using the premises. They have a legal right to un invite who ever they wish too.

I had several pubs and clubs once upon a time, my customers could use the toilets, passers by could not! (although if they asked they could) as the owner it was my choice.

Lets get it right we all here dislike even hate PPC's, they exist because they tell companies they will cure car park abuse. We cant fight against PPC's on one hand and tell people if there are no signs up carry on abusing someone's land.

The letter may well be poorly written and amateurish, but it conveys the message that the owner does not want you abusing their land!

Would the car dealer complain if the shoe was on the other foot???

Its not the biggest of car parks, and if the dealers is the BMW gaff their site is a lot bigger.
