Do I need to declare my income

I am a guy living in the uk and I recently started a job working as a delivery driver for a pizza place.
.

I was told I am self employed as I deliver the pizzas on behalf of the pizza place but I am not actually employed by the pizza place.

I get paid weekly in cash with an invoice but there is no tax or national insurance deduction.

Do I have to go to the inland revenue MYSELF and ask them to tax me.

Yes, you need to register as self-employed and you will have to fill in a self-assessment tax form. When did you start working in the UK?

Depending on your earnings, you might be liable to pay tax and National Insurance.

Good, I was worried that you might have been doing this job for some time and already have missed the deadline for a self-assessment :)
