  • The screenshot is not really informative, the actual dump needs to be analysed.

One simple thing you can try.

Turn on the PC and while it is turning on, keep pressing F8 (pres 2-3 times per second). At some point it will give you a menu with the boot options, there will be Normal Boot, Safe Mode, etc.

One of the options called "Last known good configuration". Press on it, and keep your fingers crossed :-)
  • Assuming that the PC is up and running, then go to the desktop right click on the start "button" and select Event Viewer. Go to Windows logs, System and look for error items , then screen print the one that tells you it has rebooted (or an approximation of that)

I assume it has stopped rebooting then ?

Fairly sure this will not work on windows 8. It has been months since i have done it, but now it is shift-F8 and a right sod to get into on a fast PC, and I must have booted around 20 times to get in.

"Last known good configuration", think this does not exist any more either in 8 and above :(

Sorry it seems to have cured itself, not sure how or why. but all it kept doing was rebooting.

Just look in event viewer at the logs and have a read of the red and yellow ones in system to make sure it is not serious

Personally, would do a chkdsk too, especially after multiple reboots.
