Need Help!!!

Hi guys,

I'm currently running a money for life challenge in my workplace.
https://www.moneyforlifechallenge.org.uk//

We are putting together personal hygiene packs for disadvantaged young people aged 16-18 who live independently.

I was wondering please if any one would be able to help me find somewhere to buy/beg for the following items:
Canvas/fabric bags.
toiletries - toothbrushes, paste, soap deo etc

Much thanks in anticipation :)

contact supermarkets etc. and companies asking for samples. Ask at beauty counters for perfume samples. As for bags, perhaps try the local council for old campaign bags. alternatively ask promotional companies to send you samples as if you were going to get them printed. Hope this helps

Most supermarkets have budget toiletry items-ie 2 toothbrushes for 20 pence, toothpaste 25 pence, deodorant 30pence etc. Also look in Wilkinsons.
You might ask supermarkets for donations from their budget range- wouldn't cost them a lot but would be advertising. Perhaps say the bags will have a note inside saying " the following items have been donated by X, Y Z"
If you do get donations make sure you send them a thank you letter and perhaps a photo of the goodie bags or the recipients that way they are more likely to donate (to anyone) in the future.
The dearest items will be the bags themselves.
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
