Looks a good price BUT this comment concerns me......
Can anyone tell me why i ordered a nexus 10 on the uk site and recieved a german model.
Is this legal?
I've emailed customer supprt but they seem to be ignoring me
Should it concern me ???
What would the differences be ???
Would appreciate your comments

Was it a German model, or just preconfigured with German as the setup language?

Do Google even do different models for different countries? Perhaps for certain geographical areas, but I'd very much doubt this would apply within European countries.

Perhaps the clue with the price is that these are refurb units? (Which may also explain the German issue).

Just rung them not a refurb, brand new.
Seems too good to be true at 239.00 GBP.........

The Coop link is £100 off the Play Store price! (Expansys is £90 off). I'm very surprised they can offer them at such a discount.

The Nexus 10 has a Slimport connector I believe. (A form of micro-HDMI connector).

Is there more than one version of the Nexus 10 out there being sold?
Is the one being offered above an old version?

From reviews there are some negatives about the time it takes to charge and the lack of a micro sd slot - which is a real pity...

I bought a refurb model from a seller on Play.com - they clearly stated that it came with an American power adaptor, and in a refurb box. The charger simply takes a 'figure of 8' (two pin) plug, and takes international voltages, so you just need to use a UK figure of 8 cable with it. Easy.
As far as I know there's just a 16GB and 32GB, and I don't think the device itself is specific to country.
If it had been a refurb, it could have belonged to a German before, but the software reset should have brought you to a language selection screen.
Great tablet BTW, arguably the best Android tablet, and a fantastic price.
