Plusnet and use of override providers

I am thinking of leaving BT for my phone service due to all the price changes for rental and the 1571 and caller ID service. I am considering moving to Plusnet who is already my broadband provider.
I currently use 18185 for daytime and evening calls. Does Plusnet allow the use of the 18185 service and other override providers.

No. You can add on unlimited daytime calls for £5 per month.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Yes but they all reserve the right to withdraw that access at any time.littlemoney wrote: »Unfortunately don't make enough calls to justify £5 per month.
Are there any other phone providers apart from BT who allow override providers?
You could use the 0808 number instead if the 18185 number doesn't work.:footie:

Yup ....I'm currently with Plusnet and I can confirm that 18185 still works as a prefix. Earlier post from HappyMJ was totally incorrect!!!!:)0 -

Hi littlemoney, just saw your post and can confirm what others have already said... 18185 works fine on Plusnet. HappyMJ's post (#2) is not correct. We moved phone service from BT to Plusnet over a year ago and are pleased we did.0
