Disability Income Guarantee?

I've just received a letter from the DWP that has confused me a little.
I'm currently claiming ESA support group.
The letter is one of those "changes to social security benefits" ones, laying out what rates I will be on after 9th April.
However at the end it shows these amounts as:
Your living expenses: £72.40 (presumbly basic element of ESA)
Extra money because of the Disability Income Guarantee: £15.55
Extra money because you are in the Support Group: £35.75

It is the Disability Income Guarantee that is new. I received something similar previously when I also got DLA but thought it was an add-on because of the DLA (weird how all-or-nothing sickness benefits are/ have become...)
Anyone know what it's all about? DWP page just takes me to Income Support Premiums...

I would think Income based, as this doesn'tusually appear on Cont based, that is only the basic, plus the top up for support group.

    Lin :)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

Yeah, but I am in receipt of contributory ESA Support group, and high rate DLA (both), and all I get is the basic and the extra for being in SG.

I do not get income guarantee.
