I got mine from a bridal shop and they had loads under £200 so it's worth looking at them. But if not look at coast, phase eight, department stores etc.0

Hi,
What shade of blue are you looking at? I went bridesmaid dress shopping on Saturday, we are having Navy blue, I thought we'd struggle but there was loads of choice, we looked at monsoon, coast, debenhams & house of fraser.
Good luck!0 -

I really recommend looking on ebay. They have some beautiful dresses and are such a bargain that you could easily afford to get them altered or customized with the money you have left over. You can even buy the shoes to match for a bargain0

Mine are from Debenhams (on a 30% spectacular before Christmas :T) On the debenhams website they usually have a few details like how tall the model is etc.I think most of the models on the debut dresses range are around 5'9 plus heels, so they shouldn't be too far off for your bridesmaids.
Do you particularly want full length ones? I went for just below the knee in the end - perhaps this might be a less stressful option?!
Good luck with the searching!0 -
I have been eyeing the Dessy dresses myself. Found that if I order them from the US, even with customs charges they will be a lot cheaper (124 v 200). Depends how many you need, it worked out cheap because the postage was free after $500 or something. It's worth looking at buying from abroad if you have the time and you can use an online customs calculator to work out the final cost.0

I bought mine from EverPretty on Amazon. Just search "everpretty". I think they are chinese made, but if you buy the ones dispatched by Amazon then its free delivery and free returns if you don't like it. We ordered several different styles and just sent back the ones that we didn't like as much. All were well made and only about £30 each! Some styles were really long, one style was more like upper ankle length on my 5"7 bridesmaid.GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125
