omg! They are not very nice people, how do they sleep at night knowing they are responsible for causing so much stress to people who are already under terriffic amounts of pressure!
I already have DML (Debt Managers Ltd) shouting at me as they have bought my Masterloan debt (which I was paying every month the agreed amount etc but it will take a while to pay off), they tried threatening court action, so on the last occasion they were shouting that I have "got to" remortgage my house or end up in court within a month, I told them to do it, and hung up. Not heard for a couple of weeks and my standing order has not been sent back.
This NCO company has obv bought out one of my debts without me knowing
I wish companies would just tell you when they do this and who you should pay, as all mine via standing order to the company I know I am dealing with, so what if its sold on, is it still coming off my debt?
Unfortunately I am off work today, (local stomach bug going round-typical i get it at the weekend!) so no doubt I will get rung, I just hope the person I speak to isnt going be abusive or my mobile will be recording the conversation, as I dont feel up to dealing with any agro today!
I may just chicken out and not answer, as everyone I know knows I am normally at work, so wont try the home phone.
Thanks for all the info on this, I am gobsmacked.
Let us know how you get on with NCO and the "3" matter Diamonds, I am interested... (is that morbid of me?) If you dont mind, I will pinch your idea of not confirming any of my personal details.

I had a missed call from 01213502715 the other day. When I rang it back it was engaged and when I tried after-hours no one answered. Couldn't find anything in google about this number.0

Unfortunately i am having to deal with NCO at the moment. They are collecting on behalf of Capitol 1 services. They are rude, they lie and harrass with veiled threats. They ring and leave messages. If i pick up the phone it either goes dead or someone who doesn't listen answers and they raise their voice and make me feel stressed. They send letters regularly (one said i was in breach of agreement which i am not) Another offered a settlement figure of 35% less (which i can't afford) I upped my payment to try and get them off my back after sending in an income and expenditure report. They are not accepting it.I rang the financial ombudsman for advice yesterday and they said they could send them a letter telling them to stop but last thing i want is a charging order on my home so i don't want to upset them too much.I feel like a criminal for mistakes i made over 10 years ago.Its spoiling my everyday life and making me miserable.0

40austin, please have a look at the Debt Free Wanna board here
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=76
and have a read of some of the poster's diaries and other threads there for help with debts and how to deal with it.
Good luck.0
