Tax Credits Overpayment: Changing my Tax Code: HELP!

Hi all.

I've received a letter from HMRC stating that they are going to change my tax code from April to recover alleged tax credit overpayments. This is despite the fact I have wrote them a letter stating that I do not sanction them to do this AND I phoned them to state this (and they agreed to not do this).

Futhermore, although I feel that overpayment did not occur due to our fault, we have agreed a payment plan with the HMRC to settle the debt. Yet they are still planning on doing this?

I am going to ring them to insist that they stop this action, but they clearly have acted against my wishes and there own words, and is there anything I can do to complain about this?

Thanks.
