PPI claim supported by original documentation

Hi - currently undergoing investigation with FOS re PPI claim against NatWest with some contracts as far back as 1989 thru 1993. I have all copies of the original Personal Protection Plans against x6 consolidation loans. But the RBS/NatWest say that have not retained the records (as they only require to hold for 6 years) and as a result want me to produce bank statements showing payments made by me from said period. I no longer have the bank statements - surely original contract paperwork detailing loan(s) amount/period, monthly repayments should suffice? Awaiting feedback re 'disputed calculations with evidence' from FOS adjudicator. I originally logged the complaint over 6 years ago and it still is ongoing. Any views?

The Agreements do not prove any payments were made; for example, they could even have all been cancelled completely within the "cooling off" period.
Without comprehensive documentation from your own archive, you are going to continue to struggle with this..0
