Mac mini graphics

I've a question about the Mac mini.
The current model (eg. the entry level 2.5 GHz i5) has integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics, and I'm wondering what the performance is like.
I need to run VMware, and have found that Ubuntu Linux in a VM can be very picky about whether it supports its "3D" capabilities with integrated graphics systems.
Could I ask if anybody is running a current model Mac mini with VMs including Ubuntu, and whether its performance is acceptable and if it supports 3D?
(NB. Ubuntu "3D" isn't particularly about gaming and suchlike; it just lets you do transparency and adjust icon sizes!)
I really like the small form-factor and the one box solution, but if its graphics aren't up to it then it's a non-starter.

I run Ubuntu VMs on my Air (HD3000 integrated graphics under VMWare Fusion) and it's fine.0 -
Thanks - that's a good sign.securityguy wrote: »I run Ubuntu VMs on my Air (HD3000 integrated graphics under VMWare Fusion) and it's fine.0
