I would be wondering how they found that or knew of it.
Also why is he conducting it if you are his superior? Or did I read that wrong earlier?0 -

em, no... just wondering if this previous job are the ones who gave you a bad reference0 -
No offense but how have you not put two and two together? You HAVE been accused of stealing, that is of getting money you were not entitled to and not paying it back. According to your other thread, it would seem the issue has not been resolved and the money is still owed?
If the police came to you, there will be a record of it somewhere and indeed, it is more than likely that all this was stated in a reference.
I'm just surprise that you seem so surprise.0 -
All that said, this thread makes even less sense than the previous one. Managers do not conduct disciplinary investigations via Google Hangout, Facebook or any other form of social media. And it is impossible for an employer to obtain a criminal records check unless the job falls within certain categories, and if it did then the check would be a legal requirement before a conformed offer was made; and you certainly cannot "give authority" for such a check via social media!
But then the OP has no employment protection anyway, so they can simply be "dismissed".0 -
I'd be more worried about the fact serious work matters are being discussed via Google Hangouts. Not exactly professional.0

I thought he was in the jail.
